WHAT IS

PHI BROWS?

PhiBrows is a manual Microblading technique which involves pigment being applied into the surface layer of the dermis using a Microblading tool. The pigment is carefully selected to match the natural colour of the client’s eyebrows. Symmetry is achieved through PhiBrows application and it is calculated while the clients’ eyes are closed because in that way mimetic muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry are relaxed. Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hairs’ growth to achieve hyper-realistic look.

When a client has very few natural hairs, manual technique can be combined with shading to create a more dense effect, this is called phi shading, please ask for more details. Treatment is performed with disposable sterile tools (PhiBrush), and pigments are produced in accordance with the highest standards (PhiBrows microblading pigments). Correction is done a month after the treatment, because between 10 and 15% of drawn strokes disappear after the first treatment. Colour is extremely dark during the first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses 40 to 50% of its intensity. If you think the colour is too dark, do not try to remove it yourself by no means. Patiently wait 7 days for the colour to fade on its own after the healing of the skin.

Color duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts. Sweating and sun exposure also reduce colour fastness. On average, expected time until a new colour refreshment is between 10 and 12 months. With oily skin it is up to 6 months. The healing is fully completed after 28 days and this is when we perform an obligatory addition of the pigment that has been lost. With problematic and oily skins, we can have several additions (corrections). Post-treatment flow makes 70% of the treatment’s success.

Conscientiously obey advice, because if you don’t do so you may lose up to 80% of drawn strokes. Rinsing and applying creams is of great importance. Pain during the treatment is relative. Scared clients and clients who have their period usually feel stronger pain, while the other clients compare the pain to the one they feel when plucking eyebrows. It is possible to use mild anesthetics in form of cream or liquid that can entirely eliminate the pain during the treatment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your initial, main Microblading treatment will take between 2-3 hours to complete. A second touch-up session is required 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment, which will take a further 1-2 hours.

14 days.

Aftercare for microblading is crucial to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results. Here's a guide to post-microblading care:

  1. Keep the area clean and dry: For the first 3 days after the procedure, avoid getting the eyebrows wet with the tap water; allow the pigment to settle. One hour after the treatment , gently cleanse the eyebrow area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser or cool down boiled water twice a day to remove any buildup of lymph and prevent infection.

  2. Apply aftercare ointment: Your technician will provide you with a specialized aftercare ointment or cream. Apply a thin layer of the ointment to the treated area with clean hands or a cotton swab 2-3 times a day for the first 3 days. This helps keep the eyebrows moisturized and promotes healing.

  3. Avoid touching or picking at the eyebrows: It's essential to resist the temptation to touch or pick at the scabs that may form as the eyebrows heal. Picking at the scabs can disrupt the healing process and may lead to pigment loss or scarring.

  4. Avoid sunlight and swimming: Direct sunlight, as well as swimming pools, saunas, and hot tubs, should be avoided during the initial healing period (typically 7-14 days). UV rays and chlorine can fade the pigment and interfere with the healing process.

  5. Avoid makeup and skincare products: Refrain from applying makeup or skincare products directly on the treated area until it is fully healed. This includes avoiding eyebrow makeup, as well as products containing retinoids, AHAs, or exfoliants, which can fade the pigment and irritate the skin.

  6. Avoid strenuous activities: Avoid activities that cause excessive sweating or friction on the eyebrows, such as intense workouts, steam rooms, or massages, during the healing period. Sweating can cause the pigment to blur or fade, while friction can disrupt the healing process.

  7. Attend follow-up appointments: We schedule a follow-up appointment 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure to assess the healing process and make any necessary touch-ups. Attend this appointment to ensure optimal results and address any concerns with us.

Following these aftercare guidelines diligently will help ensure that your microblading results heal beautifully and last as long as possible.

The level of pain experienced during microblading can vary from person to person. While some individuals may describe the sensation as mildly uncomfortable or slightly painful, others may find it tolerable or even painless.

During microblading, some clients may feel a slight scratching or scraping sensation as the microblading tool creates the fine incisions in the skin and deposits the pigment. However, the discomfort is usually manageable and short-lived as We use numbing gel during the procedure.

Overall, while microblading may cause some discomfort for some individuals, the use of numbing gel and the relatively quick procedure time (typically around 1-2 hours) make it a manageable experience for most clients. Additionally, many people find that the beautiful results achieved with microblading are well worth any temporary discomfort.

Microbladed eyebrows can last for up to 3 or 4 years, depending on things like skin type and age, aftercare, routine of life. At a minimum, your new brows will last for 12 months and another touch-up session after this time should get your brows looking back to their best. Regardless, a touch-up session is recommended at least every 12-18 months.

Microblading may not be suitable for everyone, as individual factors such as skin type, medical history, and personal preferences can influence its suitability. Here are some considerations to keep in mind:

  1. Skin Type: Microblading tends to yield the best results on normal to dry skin types. Oily or excessively oily skin may not hold the pigment as well, leading to less satisfactory results. Additionally, individuals with very thin or sensitive skin may experience more discomfort during the procedure and may require extra care during the healing process.

  2. Medical History: Certain medical conditions and medications may impact the suitability of microblading. Individuals with bleeding disorders, autoimmune diseases, or a history of keloid scarring may not be good candidates for the procedure. It's essential to discuss any medical conditions or medications with your microblading technician before undergoing the procedure.

  3. Allergies: Some individuals may be allergic to the pigments used in microblading. Before the procedure, it's essential to undergo a patch test to check for any allergic reactions. If you have a history of allergies or sensitivities to cosmetics or tattoo pigments, be sure to inform your technician beforehand.

  4. Expectations: Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure, and while the results can last up to one to three years with proper care, they will eventually fade over time. If you're seeking a more permanent solution or have unrealistic expectations about the results, microblading may not be the best option for you.

  5. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: It's generally recommended to avoid microblading while pregnant or breastfeeding, as hormonal changes during these times can affect the skin's healing process and the retention of pigment.

  6. Age: While there is no strict age limit for microblading, younger individuals may have more active skin cell turnover, which can affect the longevity of the results. Additionally, individuals under the age of 18 may require parental consent to undergo the procedure.
